As a program designed to meet the needs of working clinicians, the SLPD program is a two-year, hybrid curricular model. Courses are delivered in an asynchronous virtual format with optional synchronous elements.
The cohort will meet on campus three times during the course of the program, and each on-campus visit is approximately three days in length. The approximate dates of the on-campus sessions are:
- Orientation: Typically scheduled during the second or third week of June of year 1 [subject to change]
- Summer Symposium: Typically, falls during the second or third week of June between year 1 and year 2 [subject to change]
- Graduation Hooding Ceremony: Typically held during the second week in June [subject to change]
